• Structural and civil planning, design and documentation and site phase monitoring for the extension of this existing major hospital.
• Three linked main buildings include a multi-level 70m long medical centre, a seven storey wards block and a three level theatre complex.
• The buildings are a variety of construction types including post-tensioned floors, and a flat plate concrete construction.
• Design incorporates large (up to 1800mm) shallow bored piers that achieve required capacities without expensive and time-consuming excavation support.
• Scope of works includes carparking and water supply upgrades.
